Biodegradable additive "Degranobon"

"Degranobon" is a masterbatch (additive) that, when added to olefin-based resins such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), or polystyrene (PS), ultimately leads to decomposition into water and carbon dioxide. By simply adding it to existing PE, PP, and PS resins, it is possible to produce without significantly changing the quality characteristics (resin properties) using conventional processing equipment. Additionally, by adjusting the amount added, it is possible to set the shelf life (decomposition rate). Since it complies with FDA and food sanitation laws, its applications are diverse, including food packaging, various supplementary packaging materials, plastic bags, and bottle containers, and it has been adopted by numerous companies across various industries (automotive, food, construction, cosmetics, etc.).
